Privacy policy

Vladimir Lukashov develops STL Viewer. The app has no accounts or advertising and does not upload models. It uses RevenueCat to manage subscriptions and understand subscription performance.

Your models stay on your device

When you import a model, STL Viewer stores a local copy with its name, geometry information and your selected units. The app leaves the original file unchanged. We do not receive your files, model names, measurements or viewing activity. A device or iCloud backup may include the app's local data according to your Apple settings.

Purchases

Apple processes payments. RevenueCat receives purchase and subscription information: product identifiers, transaction dates, subscription status, store, currency and country. It links this information to a randomly generated anonymous app identifier. We use this information to verify and restore Pro access, prevent duplicate purchases and review subscription performance. We do not send RevenueCat your name, email address, model files or an advertising identifier, and we do not use this information for advertising tracking. Images you share

STL Viewer creates exported images on your device. An image includes the model view, model name and selected measurements. The app sends it only to the destination you choose in the system share sheet. That destination's privacy practices apply.

Support messages

If you email support, we receive the email address and information you choose to send. We use that information to answer your request. Only include confidential models if you need them to explain the issue. You can ask us to delete your support messages.

This website

The support website does not use analytics, advertising cookies or tracking pixels. Vercel hosts the site and processes request information, such as IP addresses and browser details, to deliver and secure it. See Vercel's privacy policy.

Deletion and contact

Remove a model from the library to delete the app's copy. Uninstalling the app removes its local data, subject to any backups you keep with Apple. Uninstalling does not cancel a subscription or delete the purchase records held by Apple and RevenueCat. Apple and RevenueCat may keep subscription records to restore purchases, resolve billing issues and meet legal obligations.
